Classified storage, moisture-proof. Ginseng is known as the "king of Invigorating Qi". It has been a precious medicinal material since ancient times. It can be divided into red ginseng and white ginseng. Red ginseng is generally not easy to be eaten by insects, but it must be kept dry. When drying, it should be covered with white paper to avoid discoloration. It can be sealed and stored in wooden boxes or porcelain bottles. White ginseng is easy to grow insects and change color. Moths often occur in the upper part of the main root and in the rhizome (reed head). The wet ginseng should be dried in time and sealed in the porcelain bottle to keep its original color.
In rainy season, it's better to refrigerate in refrigerator or put it in quicklime tank, but do not contact with quicklime directly, and quicklime should not be put too much (about 1 / 4 of the container). If ginseng is too dry, it is easy to break and cause loss. In addition, American ginseng should also be stored in a cool place after drying.
